The Grand Social is hiring an experienced Club Booker
The Grand Social first opened its doors in the autumn of 2010. Since then, the space has garnered a reputation as one of Dublin's best music venues.
Dublin city centre venue The Grand Social is looking for an experienced Club Booker to join their team.
The job's responsibilities would also encompass in-house promotions, college clubs and aftershows.
The well-established live music venue and event space hosts regular and once off club nights and festivals, with the likes of Primal Scream, Django Django, Jake Bugg, Kevin Rowland, Ghostpoet, Nathaniel Rateliffe, Michael Kiwanaku, Miles Hunt, Pale Waves, Kae Tempest, Bahamas and Picture This.
Willy Mason, The Academic, Little Green Cars, Gruff Rhys, Damien Dempsey, Laetitia Sadier, Jah Wobble, The Strypes, Bell X1, Eddie Reader, Roisín Ó and THUMPER have also graced the stage.
Hot Press also ran our Up Close and Personal series at the Ha'penny Bridge location, featuring Dempsey, Planxty, Gemma Hayes, Mary Coughlan, Villagers and more.
The venue has also been nominated for IMRO Music Venue of the Year ever since they've opened up, and beat out the competition to become Dublin Music Venue of the Year in 2012.
This is a great opportunity for the right person to join an innovative and fun team, who love clubs, live entertainment, nightlife and working in a fast-paced environment in Dublin’s hottest venue.
The right candidate will have a strong understanding of promoting a club from the ground up, have strong knowledge of local and international acts and promoters and be in tune with what is current. They also must have event management experience in a high traffic event space and a strong understanding of social media.
The Grand Social will offer a great starting salary, plus bonuses.
