Bohemian FC and Annie Mac team up for women's away jersey
The shirt is on pre-sale now, with all profits set to be shared between Bohemian FC and two local schools – enabling them to deliver improved music lessons, including DJ training, to their students.
Bohemian FC have officially unveiled another special partnership jersey this morning – teaming up with renowned Irish DJ, broadcaster and author Annie Mac, for the club's 2025 women's away jersey.
Available for pre-sale now, the exclusive shirt – designed by Annie – features a two tone orange and pink design, and a DJ play/pause symbol across the centre.
Profits from the jersey will be shared between Bohemian FC and two local schools, Christ the King Girls School Cabra, and Presentation Primary School George’s Hill.
Bohs In The Community will be distributing 50% of the profits to the schools to enable them to deliver improved music lessons, including DJ training, to their students.
"We are delighted to officially put this shirt on pre-sale today, following the team wearing it over the past few months," says Bohs' COO, Daniel Lambert. "Special thanks to Annie for working on it with us.
"To once again have funds going towards such a worthy cause, assisting young children locally to be able to further engage with music through their schools is brilliant," he adds. "Music has the ability to change lives and often young children with great talents aren’t afforded the opportunity to realise this."
Annie Mac is no stranger to the League of Ireland's oldest football club. She and Toddla T played a co-DJ set in the Mono Bar at Dalymount Park after Bohemian FC's historic friendly against the Palestinian women's national team, which Palestine won 2–1.
"I’m absolutely delighted to partner with Bohs to design this women’s away kit," Annie Mac comments. "I’m a huge fan of Bohs as a club and the women’s team particularly. I wanted to bring some of my DJing into the design and loved the idea of the play pause motif - DJing is about tempo, timing, building momentum, understanding and reading a dance floor.
"There are so many parallels to playing football, but ultimately it is a solo job, whereas football, when successful, is utterly contingent on team playing. I like the symbolism of this brilliant squad wearing the play pause motif on their chests. They play together. They win together."
She goes on to state that "record numbers of people have been coming to watch Bohs women recently" – and she hopes "this shirt can contribute to them getting the support and funding they need to grow and grow."
The jersey is available to pre-order now here.
